Ann Kontak is a senior-level marketing professional with a keen sense of how people respond to visual, auditory, and verbal messaging in new and traditional media. In addition to formal training in graphic design and communications, she brings to the table over 20 years of executive-level experience in strategic marketing, visual design (UI/UX), branding, and public relations. Her award-winning work has been recognized on both the national and local levels.
A Proven Record of Success in Diverse Industries
While in Boulder, Colorado, Ann ran a small design studio of her own, taught design, and worked at several Front Range agencies designing and art directing work primarily for large tech and healthcare organizations. Upon moving to New Hampshire she continued to market and design for B2B and B2C accounts, tech and healthcare, nonprofits, state agencies, legal and professional organizations, schools, and numerous small and medium-sized businesses.
Trivia
Started career working for the Fairbanks Arts Association in Alaska. From Kachemak Bay. The name “Dancing Sky” was inspired by the northern lights!
Adventurous and artistic roots. Grew up camping, hiking, boating, and traveling. Entered first art show at the tender age of four: a drawing of a duck!
Making something look good while solving a thorny design problem is a specialty! Logical thinking + creative exploration = quality visual communication!
Husband is an OT, musician, instrument builder, and fine artist. Daughter is a singer, dancer, and stage performer. We all love sushi, dogs and cats!
